Potato Cheese Balls

2 cups mashed potatoes, chilled
1/2 cup grated processed American cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

Combine potatoes and cheese in medium bowl; blend well.
Shape mixture into 28 to 30 balls.
In separate bowl, whisk together egg and mild.
Dip balls in egg, then roll in bread crumbs.
Place balls on baking sheet. Broil, 5 inches from heat, 4 to 6 minutes, or until golden brown.
Turn and brown other side, about 4 minutes.
Serve warm on wooden toothpicks.

Servings: 20 to 30 appetizers
