5 medium-size potatoes, boiled and mashed (leave peelings on for added
1lb. ground beef, turkey or venison
1 onion, chopped
1 to 2 cans french-style green beans or 1/2 lb. frozen mixed vegetables
1 - 11oz. can tomato soup
1 T cooking oil
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Heat oil in large skillet, add onion and
cook until tender.
Add ground beef and brown thoroughly.
Mix in drained green beans or frozen vegetables and tomato soup.
Spoon into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and pile mashed potatoes
on top of meat/vegetable mixture to completely cover the mixture.
Bake for 1/2 hour or until potatoes start to brown.
