Apple - Potato Salad

6 medium potatoes, cooked and sliced (6 cups)
2 cups thinly sliced red apples
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced green pepper
1/4 cup minced onion
1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
dash pepper
mixed salad greens
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans

Combine potatoes, apples, celery, green pepper, and onion in large bowl. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, celery seed, and pepper is small bowl; blend well.
Stir into potato mixture; blend well.
Cover and chill several hours to blend flavors.
Arrange salad greens in large salad bowl or on individual plates.
Spoon potato salad on top.
Sprinkle with nuts.
